Project Management

Risk Reduction

Early identification of potential issues during the course of a project is vital to reducing risk, and our experience in a whole range of projects has given our team the knowledge to not only identify potential risks but also to manage them and implement strategies to either avoid or mitigate any negative impact. Having communicated with different stakeholders, from end users to third parties, we understand the importance of engagement to ensure all objectives are understood and dealt with whilst operating workable solutions.

Cost Optimisation

Project Controls 

We understand the importance of management of contract procedures and clear reporting of client key matters. Our clients are offered a project dashboard which gives regular interim updates on cost, progress and scope of work-related issues and we are always only a phone call away to answer any queries. We work closely with our clients to create a ‘one team’ approach whilst steering all involved on a path to comply with contract obligations.

Quantity Surveying

Whether drawings need to be measured, site conditions quantified or scopes developed from basic levels of information, our team have the capabilities and knowledge to provide the very best in traditional quantity surveying. We are also experienced in the procurement and tendering of works on a wide range of construction and engineering projects, including residential schemes, schools, pharmaceutical sites, chemical and process facilities and data centres. During the course of a project we implement cash flow management forecasts and deal with the assessment and preparation of interim payment notices and certificates. At the end of a project, we then deal with final account settlements to ensure a fair result is achieved for our clients.

Contract Services

Our experience in drafting construction contracts and appointment documents gives Linro a unique advantage. The team have delivered schemes under various different forms of contract, sometimes highly amended or bespoke. We ensure that our clients not only secure the obligations they require but that this is done with operable mechanisms to ensure delivery from both parties. Every project is unique, and we make sure all contracts are drafted with this in mind so that our client secures the best possible arrangements.

Variation Management

Our variation management service includes management of the contract administration associated with variations, management of the funding/budgets associated with variations and assessment of costs and programme. Since Linro began, we have worked with a multitude of different clients and dealt with variations in excess of £60million. Within the construction industry, variations are one of the biggest causes for dispute and we work hard to protect our clients from being exposed to the risks associated with project change.  

Claims and Dispute Resolution

Working in an industry which operates at a fast pace with complex technical requirements plus high value agreements, can create difficulties for organisations operating in today's construction and engineering sector. At Linro, preparation of claims on behalf of our clients and responding to claims received is a key component of our capability. Our team receive regular training to ensure they are up to date with the fast moving industry and all issues surrounding dispute resolution. We pride ourselves in our ability to quickly understand complex issues and to deal with them effectively and swiftly whilst achieving the best possible result.
